I hate to even come near your bubble with a needle, much less science, but your reasoning is simply flawed, badly flawed.   For example, you try to conclude that since "food allergies run in families" and "so does chronic GI problems," that therefore chronic GI problems must be a food allergy. This is bad, bad reasoning on several counts.  First, it is not at all clear that food allergies are genetic.  Some probably are, some are acquired from the environment, and some are idiosyncratic.  Similarly, you are wrong in implying that chronic GI problems are genetically determined.  In some cases, there is a genetically determine predisposition, but some chronic GI problems are bacterial in cause, some are related to environment, etc.  Moreover, neither fool allergies nor GI problems are single, unitary illnesses, but are (expecially with GI) often syndromes, or collections of disorders, so to speak. Furthermore, even if you were correct about the familial aspect of these groups of illnesses.  Blue eyes runs in families, and so does shoe size.  By your reasoning, one would come to the silly conclusion that blue eyes and shoe size are causally related. Finally, your contention of "clinical studies" that, you claim, show that prednisone is no more effective than a tube feeding of "ENF" is hard to assess.  Where are the studies published.  More importantly, have they been replicated in another location, using necessary controls (such as double blind, etc.)?  Unless the studies are replicated, and published in major peer reviewed journals, they are highly suspect. Even if the studies are good ones, they do not prove your point.  Comparing tube feeding of some gunk with prednisone treatment does not, by a long shop, have anything to do with a claim that GI problems are results of food allergies.  Again, you compare apples and tangerines.   The whole issue of food allergies isn’t even that clear. Besides, you do not appear to be posting this stuff out of altruism.   I shall have the courtesy to limit the number of groups to which I post this reply. You posted to 16 different groups, which is rude and suggests that you are after people’s hard-earned money.
