That sounds like me as a child, I wish my Mom had had better support and advice (something like this group) when I was growing up. —

I read your other article about your son and I think you are right that henry is on too many meds. Is there a way that you can assess his meds with a new asthma specialist? Another suggestion that worked for me was that I got the most information and explanation of the medication my son is on for his asthma from a pharmacist who is genuinely interested in the medication people are taking and how it affects them. My husband was taught on how to use his asthma medicines from this pharmacist and how to use a peak flow meter. Our GP sent us to this pharmacist so we could learn how to use asthma meds properly. It worked for us and now I know when my son is using ventolin daily, his behaviour is more intense and hyper and I have to remind myself he is not wanting this behaviour, it is the medication. Good Luck. M.

Studies have been done on this, I ran acrost one a while ago but cant remeber were, what it was called ect.         What was found was that asthmatic children who had over protective mothers in this study would cling to there mothers when introduced to a group, how ever when there mothers left they tended to verg on being bullies. The found that such children did beter on oral exsams and wors on writen ones and had a list of behaviors that were common.         If you have a colladge library you can do a serch on the topic of asthma (or any library) and see what they have. — Elf-Kin -Every inch of me that is not carnivorous is 100% vegitarian.
