What a shame….

An advantage to having been around for a long time is that I have seen the fads and fantasies, the fanatics and the hysterics, the fears of the year and the therapies of the decade come and go. It has been fascinating. The reason I have made absolutely no comment about the role of underbreathing or overbreathing in the control of asthma is that I am able to see the controversy with the amused tolerance of experience. Thank you for your penetrating analyses and your interesting and educational expositions on human physiology. I continue to read your postings with unalloyed admiration and amusement. Larry

You could lose the potential of making some extra money.

"My research has shown that using XYZ remedy (that I happen to sell) cures everything." Has any medical or medical research organization approved the device? "It’s not American foreign policy, or the plight of the Palestinians, or America’s longstanding support for Israel. A group of people with money and weaponry have simply decided that we, as a civilization, are unfit to live, and want, eventally, to exterminate us." ‘Christian Century’ magazine
Response:
I was just concerned about Larry’s advanced age and onerous duties of pontificating here on the electronic frontier, probably just like you are. Anyway, please rest assured that the Powerbreathe device is backed by research at Birmingham University, England, and seems to have become a British national prestige product.
