The only scientific research I could find is some 20-30 year old research where it was apparently investigated as a cancer treatment agent. From the lack of continued research it is a safe bet that it was not found to be effective. It sounds like some herbal salesman has an overstock of the stuff and is increasing the number of diseases it ‘cures’ in an attempt to sell it. My advice is to ask the person selling the stuff for the results of the safety testing. No electrons were harmed in the posting of this message.
